Did You Know
The name of the Baby Ruth bar has an interesting story behind it. The original manufacturer, the Curtiss Candy Company, claimed they named the bar after President Grover Cleveland's daughter Ruth...despite the fact the company was on the same street as Wrigley Field and the bar was introduced in 1921, during legendary baseball player Babe Ruth's rise to fame!
Of course, the company paid no loyalties to Ruth and many people claim the company concocted the Ruth Cleveland story to avoid doing so. This is more than supported by the fact that she had died 17 years previously!
